For this young couple, expecting their first child, we transformed a simple bedroom into a serene and inviting retreat. Working with their existing bed and the home’s rich walnut finishes, we curated a palette of warm wood tones, soft linens, and tactile accents.

The design balances function and comfort, with sculptural side tables, a burl-veneered dresser, and layered lighting to create a restful atmosphere. A botanical-inspired rug adds softness and subtle color, while plants bring a sense of life and freshness. The result is a timeless, calming space—perfect for unwinding before welcoming their newest family member.
